The Sundance Group

The Sundance Group is comprised of 7 entities: The Sundance Institute, The Sundance Film Festival (produced by the Institute), Sundance Cinemas, Sundance Catalog, Sundance Resort, Sundance Channel, Sundance Preserve and the Redford Center. Each entity is run separately, yet all share the supervision of Group President Robert Redford. There are core philosophies that all entities share that encompass the desire to support new and emerging artists, respect for the enviornment and create opportunities to learn, discuss and grow.

	Sundance Cinemas The concept of Sundance Cinemas defines and enriches the specialized exhibition business by raising the bar with exciting facilities that feature excellent presentation, upscale amenities, and value added customer services, all in a comfortable environment.
	Sundance Institute The Sundance Institute is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to the support and development of independent filmmakers, screenwriters, playwrights, music composers, and theatre artists. The Institute is committed to supporting, celebrating, and preserving the work of emerging independent artists.
	Sundance Film Festival The Sundance Institute presents the Sundance Film Festival. Along with an international audience of filmmakers, media, film industry professionals, and film enthusiasts, the Sundance Institute welcomes a new and unconventional group of writers and directors to the forefront of filmmaking each year.
	Redford Center The Redford Center inspires positive social and environmental change through the arts, education and civil discourse. The organization has emerged from a 40 year Sundance tradition of artistic expression and engagement. It is an extension of Robert Redford’s tireless activism and his faith in creativity, humanity, and positive change.
	Sundance Catalog Robert Redford's Sundance Catalog is renowned for its rich assortment of handcrafted merchandise reflecting the heritage and diversity of the American west. The Catalog offers an eclectic mix of women's and men's clothing and footwear, jewelry, accessories and home décor.
	Sundance Channel Under the creative direction of Robert Redford, Sundance Channel is the television destination for independent-minded viewers seeking something different. Bold, uncompromising and irreverent, Sundance Channel offers audiences a diverse and engaging selection of films, documentaries, and original programs. Launched in 1996, Sundance Channel is subsidiary of Rainbow Media Holdings LLC.
	Sundance Resort Nestled at the base of Utah’s 12,000-foot Mt. Timpanogos, Sundance Resort is a 5,000-acre year round mountain resort. Created by Robert Redford, Sundance is a haven for discovery and inspiration.
